Questions we hear most
How do we try a class?
Book a trial class on our registration page, pick a class from the schedule and arrive ten minutes early. A teacher meets you at the door.
Which class is right for my dancer?
Twos start with creative movement. Threes and fours can take creative movement or ballet and tap, and fives take ballet and tap. If you aren't sure, the teacher will tell you at the door.
What should they wear?
Leggings or tights and a plain top, with bare feet or ballet slippers. Tutus are welcome and never needed.
Do I need to stay?
Yes, a grown-up stays in the waiting room for the whole class. We don't offer drop-off.
May I watch?
In the first full week of every month, the door opens for the last ten minutes of each class and families watch from the doorway.
What if my dancer needs a minute at the door?
That is fine. The teacher will wave them in at their own pace, and you can wait in the doorway for the first minutes before settling in the waiting room.
What are the costume and the May recital?
The May recital is for families to watch. One simple costume is ordered in the winter, and the recital asks a production charge and tickets for guests. We tell you what each is for before you sign up.
What if we miss a class?
Message the studio, and we will find a make-up class for the same age within the session.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the age, the class and the days a week. Our figures are on the registration page.
